Orphan Gold Mine
Located 220-km Northeast Of Thunder Bay In Ricakby Township, the Orphan Goldmine is a considered to be a past producer of the Bearmore Geraldton gold camp. In total, this camp, consisting of 19 mines, produced in excess of 4.1 million ounces of Gold.
The Orphan Mine produced a total of 2,460 ounces of gold, and 1,558 ounces of Silver when it was in operation during the years 1934 and 1935. Grade averages during these periods exceeded 0.7 ounces of gold and .44 ounces of silver, per ton of ore mined.
The project consists of 9 freehold patented claims, totaling 116.9 hectares. An independent valuation by Caracle Creek International Ltd, values the project at $3m, not taking into account an estimated 25,000 ounces of gold estimated to be in place from recent drilling.
Foisey Gold Property
Located 220-km Northeast Of Thunder Bay In Ricakby Township, the Foisey Gold System is in the immediate vicinity of the Orphan Mine project, sharing a common boundary.
Diamond drilling has demonstrated the presence of a 650m strike length, 80 meterrs in width. The structure has yielded results as high as 28.79 grams per tons from grab samples. Deeper drilling, encouraged by local geologists has led to the planning of a 2,000 meter drill program, anticipated for 2017.
The Foisey Gold Systm is strategically located on a major gold trend, with easy access by secondary roads.
